Finally! After 9 LONG months, the 1g is running again after the crash. Actually, saying "running again" is false,
as it is not the same shell. Everything was swapped over to a new "clone" shell, and a few things were upgraded along
the way. Be sure to register (it's free) and catch the whole story here.
Here are some teasers:
Welcome to the new site! Er.. kind of.
I know it has been around 5 months since the last update, but I have been preoccupied with other things.
I built a new site, but scrapped it because I didn't like how it turned out. I also added a
forum!
The reason for switching to this new set-up is because all the pictures from the car updates made the main
page slow to fully load. Also, with the way it was structured, it was hard to follow the builds unless you
regularly checked. Lastly, the focus of the site has changed. Previously, I hosted this site to outline the
progression of each car, but this has slowly transformed to people using this a resource to aquire their automatic
transmission parts. These parts are now easier to find (or will be when I am finished renovating) without going
through the clutter of the different builds. The builds aren't completely lost though. You can still access
them via the forum. You can also add your own now to share with others.
1/4 Mile: 10.8712 @ 119.93
1/8 Mile: 6.8661 @ 98.03
60' Time: 1.2291
Turbo: BorgWarner S372
Boost: 32 PSI
Fuel: Pump 93 with 100% meth injection
Nitrous: 100 shot until 25psi
Tires: Bridgestone Potenza 009's
Comments: Stock cams / block. Also bounced off the limiter
at the end of the race and through the traps, which is why the MPH is low. Looks like
the limiting straps worked well.
1/4 Mile: 10.3959 @ 140.62
1/8 Mile: 6.8889 @ 111.38
60' Time: 1.6768
Turbo: Garrett/TiAL GT4202 V-band
Boost: 34 PSI
Fuel: E85
Nitrous: 100 shot to 25psi
Tires: Kuhmo Ecsta SPT
Comments: Good run, started knocking up top from being
too lean with intank and inline 044's. Also was a low boost launch.
